The Hawaiian people,

embrace their islands, the oceans, and themselves like no other,

in such away that their Mana/spirit

has always been very meaningful to us.

Our Parents,

raised us as Japanese Americans

instilling us with Japanese traditions,

and being 4 generations out of Japan,

our ancestry also goes back to Hawai'i 3 generations

so we were also instilled with that Aloha Mana.

From our parents we learned how to respect

people and cultures

and to appreciate and preserve

what you have and what you are given.

 The concept of Bruddas,

is our way of bringing our California upbringing,

Japanese and Hawaiian cultures together.

The double d’s in Bruddas represents the 5 siblings,

our names all begin with the letter “d”.

The “u’ represents our family name

and is our bridge from California to Hawaii.

We left the “h” off because we weren’t born in the Islands,

its our way of showing respect to the people of Hawai'i.

it supports the local communities,

bedda for the environment

and our way

of giving back to a place that we were born and raised in.​​

Bruddas is a living, growing lifestyle

that grows and learns everyday from the people around us,

our goal is authenticity, goodness, appreciation, respect

and love.
